Yoga is a way to find yourself. It means unity and helps us to connect with ourselves and the universe.
The original word yoga means union. Feeling united with yourself, things around you, the world, the universe and the creative force. We are all one and if everybody becomes aware of this, we can solve and eliminate wars, racism, environmantal destruction, abuse of people or animals and a lot more. So let’s come together!
Everybody needs a reason to be here, a meaning that gives sense to our lives. In his book „mans search for meaning“ Viktor Frankl talks about how important it is to have a reason to live. The sanskrit word dharma can be described as your calling. Or another way to describe it is beeing in resonance with yourself and the universe. You can experience this feeling in meditation or a flow-state. Descover who you are and why you are here.
We all lack perspective! How often do we find ourselves in a state of complaining or dissatisfaction? Gaining perspective and feeling gratitude for everything we have is the #1 recipee for happiness. I know sometimes it can be hard to find something positive and I am not in a position to juge. However there are plenty of stories out there showing how to find gratitude even in the darkest places. Let’s discover them!
Practice is what makes us better. Try to find reward and joy in the path not the destination, because there is none.
